The Courtyard by Marriott Old Pasadena is adjacent to the Memorial Park Gold Line surface rail station so that it is easy to travel from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) to the hotel using inexpensive public transportation.
This involves taking the FlyAway Bus which goes nonstop from LAX to Union Station (about 25 minute ride, buses every 30 minutes during day) and then the Gold Line from Union Station to the Memorial Park Station in Pasadena (21 minute ride, trains about every 12 to 15 minutes on Sundays). Total trip time is about 50-90 minutes and cost is $7 for FlyAway Bus and $1.25 for Gold Line. Detailed information/photos for taking the Flyaway Bus and Gold Line to Marriott hotel. (pdf)
